Chips in dishwasher
we already have a few that have chipped at the rim in the dishwasher. surprised, since they're thick, heavy glasses.
Color chips off!
color chips off after a year of use in occasional dishwasher!! not up to par with Villeroy other products. Dissapointed!
Heavy weight, Substantial, attractive
We replaced our old everyday glasses with a set of Boston Blues. They feel great in your hand and are quite substantial and heavy since they're 24% lead crystal. The color in the pictures is very accurate and complements our kitchen colors very well. Since not even the Villeroy and Boch website mentions it, I thought I'd let everyone know the capacity of the three types we bought. I used a measuring cup and filled to where the design stops, which is about a quarter of an inch from the lip. I can't imagine why not even the manufacturer publishes this information. Crystal Claret: 8 ounces Double Old Fashioned: 10 ounces Highball: 12 ounces We didn't buy any of the water goblets, but I know they're bigger than the crystal claret (wine) goblets, so they're going to be greater than 8 ounces. I like the clarets. They're easy to hold. Hope this helps.

Classy, everyday glasses
Great glasses. I use them everyday. They are not easy to chip, withstand the dishwasher, kids and friends. Thick enough glass that a little banging around doesn't break them. Color remains good. not faded or scratched.
