Nickel posts apparently-- allergic reaction

Apparently these have nickel posts-- so developed a painful allergic reaction in my ears after wearing these. I never used to be, but due to some Lilly Pullitzer sandals with a metal fob, I developed an allergy. Look it up-- extended exposure commonly brings on a permanent allergy to nickel. Stick with gold plated/silver posts and save the cheap/fun nickel stuff for rare wear.
