Bloomingdale's Announces Winner for Final Cut Contest Bloomingdale's Prom 2008

Bloomingdale's announces Andrea Maeng winner of the Final Cut 2008 prom dress design contest. Andrea was hand picked by voters on Bloomingdales.com and teenvoguepromo.com for her stunning dress design she created in an exquisite shade of pale yellow. Andrea's design will be produced by fashion house A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz and will be available at select Bloomingdale?s for Prom 2009.

Andrea Maeng is currently a Junior in High School and resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and has always had an interest in fashion design. Andrea has taken design classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology and is scheduled to take design classes at Parsons School of Design this summer. When designing the dress Andrea made sure she designed a dress that was flattering to all body types but would also make the dress a memory for a lifetime!

Andrea will also receive a trip to New York City this June where she will be staying at The Lowes Regency Hotel for two nights. Andrea will be meeting Bloomingdale's buyers, joining them for market and have lunch with the team at Bloomingdales! Andrea will also be visiting the New York showroom for A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz and ending the day with a dinner from David Burke at Blooomingdale's.
