December, 2007... Martine Leventer, founder and owner of Martine's Chocolates, whose flagship store is located on the 6th floor of Bloomingdale's 59th Street in New York City, is introducing yet another way to thank New York for making her home to one of the highest rated chocolates in the nation. This winter is witnessing a much publicized increase in demand for food for the needy. In response, Martine has announced that she will donate 20% of sales from her 15th Anniversary and Collector's boxes, both of which feature hand-painted New York City skylines, to one of the City's most active causes fighting hunger, City Harvest.

A Holiday Gift and a Gift To a Cause

The unique Anniversary box and the Collector's box are two gifts in one: a gift of chocolate and an original work of art. Now they are also a gift to City Harvest, making them actually three gifts in one. Martine Leventer collaborated with New York artist Nancy George-Michalson on the unique design, which features a glowing skyline of New York City. Each box is hand-painted and signed by the artist.

The boxes hold 9 chocolates. After the sweets have been enjoyed, the box remains to delight the receiver for years to come.
