BLOOMINGDALE'S LITTLE PINK CAMPAIGN TO FIGHT BREAST CANCER-- THE BATTLE WILL BE WON!

October 2007, New York, New York...Bloomingdale's continues its long standing support of Mrs. Evelyn Lauder and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation with a comprehensive campaign to create awareness and raise funds during October's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The campaign includes a special "Pink" edition of Bloomingdale's Little Brown Book magazine, an on-line "Pink" boutique, and two exclusive items--the Big Pink umbrella and the Little Pink Card-- that will all support a contribution to BCRF. Signature artwork by well-known, New York cartoonist and author of Cancer Vixen, Marisa Acocella Marchetto, will be woven throughout the campaign.

The Little Pink Book's nearly 70 pages will be dedicated to inspiring stories from well-known cancer survivors and advocates, information about BCRF and its mission, interviews with medical experts, tips and recipes for healthy cooking from Evelyn Lauder and top New York Chef, David Burke, as well as pages and pages of products and exclusive offers that all benefit BCRF. Readers will have the opportunity to bid on exclusive offers such as Marchetto's original artwork for the Little Pink Book cover, a private London bikini shopping trip with Elizabeth Hurley, and a one-on-one make-up session with international beauty expert, Bobbi Brown, just to name a few.

The Little Pink Book's 17 page fashion spread, featuring clothing and accessories that all generate a donation to BCRF, will become a virtual "Pink" boutique on-line, available at www.bloomingdales.com/littlepinkbook. All items shown will also be available in Bloomingdale's stores nationwide.

The exclusive Big Pink Umbrella and the Little Pink Card will be available in-stores and on-line starting mid-September, with all net proceeds benefiting BCRF. The umbrella's unique pink camouflage design, created by Marisa Acocella Marchetto, mirrors The Estee Lauder Companies' 2007 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign theme, "Win the Fight Against Breast Cancer." The Big Pink Umbrella will be sold for $16, while supplies last.

The Little Pink Card, with package art also by Marchetto, has the capability to make a double donation to BCRF; 10% of the card's value at the time of purchase and then 10% of the amount spent over the gift card amount at the time it is redeemed. Pink Cards are available from $10 to $10,000.
