Bloomingdale?s Y.E.S. Contemporary Department Takes a World Tour
For Holiday 2006, Bloomingdale?s Y.E.S. Contemporary Department will offer an exclusive shop of rock-inspired merchandise titled ?World Tour?. World Tour shops will be located in Bloomingdale?s stores nationwide with exclusive designs from LaRok, Marc by Marc Jacobs, True Religion, Diane Von Furstenberg, AQUA, Lucky, Alice & Olivia, Joie, Iisli, Paige Denim, 7 for All Mankind, Chip & Pepper, Ella Moss, C&C, Splendid, Roxy Wear, Twisted heart, Hard Tail, Yvette Mandell, Artine, Guess?, So low, Theory, Peoples Liberation, Free People, Juicy, Miss Sixty and Primp.
The World Tour merchandise is each designer?s interpretation of wearable, rock-inspired clothing. Each item has an element of fun but yet is real clothes that fit into everyday life. The merchandise assortment includes jackets, sweaters, tees, dresses and premium denim. Many items are accented with details like zippers, skulls, wings, grommets, hearts and stars along with touches of Swarovski crystal that can be found on back pocket detail or on sweater designs.
All World Tour merchandise will have a special World Tour hang tag and four Bloomingdale?s stores will have the special shopping bag made with black velvet panels and a silver shoulder strap handle. Also for the first time ever, Bloomingdale?s will create a special 20 page World Tour direct mail piece for the Holiday season. Each shop?s d?cor can be described as ?Glitter Rock? using plenty of sparkle and a color palette, which includes silver and pink.
Throughout the Holiday season Y.E.S. will host a series of special events in celebration of World Tour. On Saturday, November 18th all Y.E.S. department customers can get their picture taken with Bloomingdale?s very own Rock? n Roll Santa and as a special gift, a free Swarovski crystal trimmed frame to keep your photo. On Saturday, December 9th with any purchase of $300.00 or more in Y.E.S. customers will receive a leather charm bracelet and 4 charms designed exclusively for Bloomingdale?s by luxury jewelry designer Stephen Webster.
