Holiday 2005, New York, New York? Bloomingdale?s flagship 59th Street store unveiled ?Imagine? inspired holiday windows, featuring scenes from classic fairytales, on Friday November 18th. The spirit of the season came alive with an unforgettable performance by the new international pop-opera group, Il Divo, who shared songs from their debut CD, Il Divo-The Christmas Collection.

Discovered by Simon Cowell, this quartet from the United States, Switzerland, France and Spain is renowned for their enchanting renditions of opera, classical and pop favorites, such as their debut single, ?Regresa A Mi,? the Spanish version of ?Unbreak My Heart.? Sure to become your most cherished soundtrack of the season, Il Divo?The Christmas Collection is available at Bloomingdale?s stores nationwide for $14.98. And $5.00 from each CD purchased will go to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Efforts.

Bloomingdale?s windows showcase scenes from the most magical of tales including Cinderella, Alladin, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Nightingale, Frogprince, and last but not least, Rapunzel. Bringing these stories to life, the windows help you imagine what it would be like to be invited to the ball, experience the ride of your life, to be awakened by the kiss of a prince and rescued by your true love.

All costumes were custom designed by Donald Sanders. This North Carolina native holds a BA in Theatre from Lees McRae College and an MFA in Theatrical Design from the University of Georgia. For the last 4 years, he has worked under the tutelage of the great William Ivey Long. Mr. Sanders has designed costumes for several New York theatre productions, most recently CROOKED which debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
