Bloomingdale?s Announces the Launch of B, A Dazzling New Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine for Women
Bloomingdale's, like no other store in the world, has just taken fashion one step further with the announcement of a quarterly, custom published lifestyle magazine, B. The first issue debuts this October and will highlight Bloomingdale's signature philosophy on everything from the latest fashion trends to the most luxurious travel destinations as well as the newest features in home design and entertaining.
Built on the strong reputation of the famed Manhattan flagship it signifies, B will embody the aspirations of the Bloomingdale's customer while also touching on the broader style and elegance of today's modern woman. "B will be everything Bloomingdale's has been known for in terms of fashion leadership but it will take the brand one step further by allowing us to illustrate, in a relevant and artful way, the lifestyle of our merchandise," says Michael Gould, Chairman and CEO of Bloomingdale's.
The magazine will be a must-have, of-the-moment guide for the reader, featuring celebrity profiles and trendy happenings along with the who, what's and why's of shopping, beauty, travel and entertaining. B will be custom published for Bloomingdale's by John Brown Publishing and will have a cover price of $3.95. Initially circulated to Bloomingdale's most loyal customers, B will also be available for purchase at Bloomingdale's locations nationwide and ultimately sold on newsstands in most major U.S. cities.
